Randall co-founded ScribeCount in 2018 with the vision of creating the leading author service platform on the web. His mission is to make ScribeCount the ultimate resource for every author’s needs, providing a comprehensive suite of tools and services to simplify the self-publishing process. He aims to bridge the gap between authors and the support they need to succeed in an ever-evolving digital landscape.

A writer since his high school days, Randall was an early adopter of Kindle and KDP, and has been self-publishing since 2009. His passion for writing and technology has driven him to constantly innovate and improve the way authors track and manage their sales data, while ensuring they have the tools necessary to focus on their craft.

Randall’s career began in the military, where he learned discipline, leadership, and the value of serving others. After transitioning into Emergency Medicine, he spent decades working both on the ground and in the air, helping people in critical situations. This experience shaped his problem-solving skills and ability to stay calm under pressure, qualities that have translated well into his entrepreneurial journey.

With a degree in Emergency Medical Services, Randall worked in both ground and air emergency services until his writing allowed him to retire early and focus on his business ventures. This transition marked the beginning of his deep dive into self-publishing, where he saw an opportunity to combine his technical expertise and passion for helping authors.

Now fully dedicated to ScribeCount, Randall also invests his time in various other business ventures and continues to write. His entrepreneurial spirit is driven by a desire to create lasting value for others, whether it’s through innovative technology solutions or by sharing his knowledge with fellow authors.

When he’s not developing new features for ScribeCount, Randall enjoys spending time at the beach with his wife and their giant dog, Henry. He’s often seen taxiing his two teenagers to their various activities or building something in his workshop. Known for his love of woodworking, Randall produces copious amounts of sawdust and enjoys bringing his creative ideas to life with his hands.
